The problem
Living in a shared house has never been easy, whether you're living with friends or strangers. This was my experience during my uni-life. I came to Australia with my besties - we had been friends since primary school, and I thought we could be good roommates. But I regretted it sooner than ever when we faced the reality of living together, particularly when it came to chores. And this became the motivation for me to develop a chore management app — Coozy.

Coozy
The client didn’t come with a brand-style guide at the beginning. We initially picked Eminence - the purple colour of the NDIS logo - as our primary colour. I put together a mock-up, but it didn't quite hit the mark. The design felt a bit clunky and not engaging enough.
So we pivoted. Our next attempt was a more solid but elegant style, sticking with purple but incorporating more white. This became the first real design of the website.

Features
With Coozy, everyone in the household can easily check off completed chores or ask for help when needed, making it easier for everyone to work together. To make things more fun and keep everyone motivated, Coozy includes gamification elements like leaderboards, achievements, and rewards.
Coozy will also have more features like announcements, a grocery list, and a shared expense tracker. It’ll be everyone's go-to tool for managing all those house tasks!
